Dear Sir or Madam:

My goal is to have a successful, lifelong career in commercial real estate. The extensive experience from my college internships at Larsen Baker LLC, Tucson, AZ, New Market Advisors, Las Vegas, NV, and PICOR/Cushman Wakefield, Tucson, AZ have provided me with the skill-set necessary to succeed in an entry-level associate position. I obtained a real estate license for the State of Arizona and plan to continue my education to receive a broker’s license.

I have literally grown up in the business. I have a strong family history in commercial real estate. My father, Stewart Gross, was a successful broker in Florida and active in ICSC, and my grandfather, Irv Maizlish, was the President of Leo Eisenberg Company in Kansas City and a chairman of ICSC in 1992.

During my internships, I have learned several tools that I believe will facilitate my success in the real estate industry. I am capable of researching markets, maintaining online databases, assisted on property tours, and marketing properties. At Larsen Baker LLC, I have attended construction meetings, reviewed leases, created property brochures, maintained online databases, and developed marketing tools including aerials, demographics, site plans, building layouts, and traffic counts. I also attended a CCIM course for CCIMRedex and the ICSC Convention in Las Vegas last May. Last summer I had the opportunity to work with New Market Advisors where I researched potential tenants and created a new mall concept for the Mirage Hotel. I drafted LOI’s and ROE packages for companies like TJ Maxx, Petco, Panera Bread, and Dunkin Donuts. During my time at PICOR/Cushman Wakefield, I created mailers, delivered fliers to prospective clients, and maintained their online database.

Through my finance major, I have had training on how to understand international markets, accounting methods, cash flow reports, analyzing investments, and the importance of business ethics. I studied abroad in Chile for 6 months during high school and learned to speak Spanish fluently. During my junior year at college, I went on Semester at Sea and visited 12 countries around the world and learned about their different cultures. This experienced gave me tremendous perspective and appreciation of life and has helped me grow into an open-minded and mature young woman. I know that my knowledge and past experiences, combined with my strong work ethic, enthusiasm, drive, and unparalleled love for commercial real estate will enable me to be an asset to you and the company.

I have included a copy of my resume for your review and hope to have the opportunity to discuss my candidacy for an entry-level associate position with you in the near future. You can me by e-mail me at amandapgross@gmail.com. I look forward to speaking with you. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Respectfully,

Amanda Gross
